Lake Zazari “Rest In Peace” Mihail! Happy May 1!!! April 23 - St. George’s Day (Agios Georgios - Giurgiovden) – A Living Spring Tradition Sklithro: The miracle of finding the image of the Living Source Springtime is upon us in Sklithro-Zelenich. Happy Easter! Every spring before Easter, the people of Zelenich and Sklithro would walk to the south-east slopes of Mount Gradishta to gather small yellow flowers called grotvets. These humble mountain flowers were brought back to the village to decorate the Epitaph (Christ’s tomb) on Good Friday. Osio - the north side of Gradishta before you enter the “Green Valley”
